Personal Profile
David Badillo is the founder of Terra Olmec, a design-driven landscape construction and general contracting company that began operating in 2019 and was formally organized as Terra Olmec LLC in 2026.
David brings approximately six years of combined commercial construction and general contracting experience. His field background includes project coordination, safety, construction layout, grading, drainage, utilities, concrete, structural work, landscaping, and reading construction plans. This hands-on experience shaped Terra Olmec’s commitment to precision, disciplined execution, honest communication, and lasting craftsmanship.
David is currently attending Alamo Colleges in San Antonio, where he continues to study Business Administration while actively operating and expanding Terra Olmec. His education supports the company’s development into a structured, systems-based organization focused on estimating, financial management, operational efficiency, responsible growth, and long-term client relationships.
Terra Olmec’s vision extends far beyond becoming a successful local contractor. The company intends to expand throughout Texas, Arkansas, Florida, all 50 states, and eventually international markets. Future plans include 3D landscape visualization, construction robotics, sustainable infrastructure, and entrepreneurship education.
The company’s ultimate aspiration is to help develop self-sustaining environments beyond Earth, beginning with the vision of installing a biosphere on the Moon to support human research and future generations.
